Blog 2_week 2:


I have continued to watch the “Creating a Responsive Web Design” tutorial. The deadline for the research and design of our project is due 11th February 2017. The required deliverables are: moodboard, wireframe/prototype, navigation design, Photoshop/ Illustrator design. The css of these will be implemented in the following development project stage.

I have been following the exercise files that accompany the Lynda.com tutorial. I find it a good way to understand and learn proactively about what’s being taught. I got most of the html and css to work out except for the display of images in the live preview. I asked my lecturer about this and he found that where in class we all label our images folder in the local route folder as ‘img.’ in the online tutorial the tutor names the file ‘images.’ As soon as I adjusted this factor the images displayed very well.


I have selected my topic for the ‘News Website’ project which is ‘Lotto News.’ I now have some brainstorming, mood-boards and wireframes to draw up. In terms of audience, Lotto has a wide-ranging audience in every area of society.
